Kim Kardashian consistently challenges the norms of traditional Christmas gift-wrapping. In 2019, she deviated from the usual paper and instead adorned her family’s presents with nude-colored velvet fabric, highlighting her inclination for distinctive and lavish details. While this year’s wrapping method may not be as groundbreaking, it upholds Kardashian’s distinctive over-the-top style, turning the simple act of presenting gifts into a remarkable and stylish affair.

On Friday, the celebrated reality star provided a sneak peek into her holiday preparations, unveiling a stack of gifts beneath one of her many Christmas trees. Notably, the presents were adorned with all-white SKIMS T-shirts, each valued at $48. In a video posted on her Instagram Story, she remarked, “I wanted to showcase that I chose Skims cotton fabric for my wrapping this year, and I intend to reuse it.” This environmentally conscious and chic approach to gift wrapping underscores Kardashian’s dedication to both fashion and sustainability during the festive season.

“As everyone unwraps their gifts, I have plans to repurpose the fabric for items I create for my family. It’s a delightful and stylish way to have something reusable,” she added with enthusiasm. “I’m thrilled with how this turned out.”

Subsequently, Kim offered an extensive tour of her Hidden Hills mansion, festively adorned for Christmas, as depicted in a video reel captioned: “a peek at my holiday decor this year 🤍🎄.” The footage showcased numerous Christmas trees, not only in her living spaces but also surprisingly in her bathroom, along with outdoor lights. Notably, her presents were tastefully wrapped in SKIMS T-Shirts, adding a touch of sophistication to the festive ambiance.

In a separate segment, Kim Kardashian shed light on why North West prefers to stay at Kanye’s apartment. Despite Kim’s attempt to create a winter wonderland with her all-white, snow-flocked decorations, not everyone was enamored with the concept. One critic remarked, “It still looks like a hospital/mental institution though. Just with lights and trees,” while another commented, “This is the coldest Christmas I’ve ever seen.” The varied opinions highlight the subjective nature of holiday decor preferences.

A third onlooker questioned, “Kim, why the aversion to color, honey….?”

Irrespective of the holiday season, Kim’s residence has been subjected to critique in the past due to its minimalist decor. Even her 10-year-old daughter, North, has affectionately teased her about her design style. Kim revealed during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2021, “Every time I get into some kind of disagreement with my daughter North, she believes this is a dig at me: She’ll say, ‘Your house is so ugly, it’s all white! Who lives like this?'” Kim humorously added, “She just thinks it, like, gets to me, and it is kind of mean because I like my house.”
